Lol, if you call me there is a zero chance 1) I’m answering, 2) that I’m listening to the voicemail and 3) that I’m going to call you back. Text or email only, please. The spam filters work wonders.

i always answer the phone.... very few people have my number so when it goes its always family or work

(used to be some spam calls in there too but the gubment really cracked down on that shit... since putting meself on the dont call me list ive not had one)

Lots of spam calls here in the S tates. Luckily the current trend is to call you from a number in your own area code (and often exchange), to try to convince people it’s someone they might care about . Since I haven’t lived where I got my current cell number since 2011, I’m free to ignore any calls from there, unless it’s from someone actually in my contacts. I’d like to ignore anyone not in my contacts, but sometimes I do get useful calls from medical providers.

This “ REGISTER YOURSELF TO EMAIL ME ” thing i s bullshit, but I’m tired of the internet making it so easy to reach people (specifically, I’m tired of it being so easy for people to reach me). Let’s just burn it all down and go back to the days when your secretary had to call my secretary (via some surly, chain-smoking exchange operator) to set up a time for you to come by and discuss the matter over two whiskies and a cigarette.
